PEBAX 63R53

Arkema's Pebax® elastomer also introduces a bio-based specification product, with its polyamide block made from PA11 derived from castor seeds. Castor, an inedible plant, thrives even in poor soil. Since 2016, Arkema has been actively involved in the "Pragati" project, the world's first sustainable castor initiative, dedicated to promoting the sustainable cultivation of castor seeds. Bio-based Pebax® is made from castor seeds, supporting low-carbon environmental protection, offering a new low-carbon and eco-friendly option for various industries.

Polyether block Pebax® Rnew® 63R53 SP 01 resin is a thermoplastic elastomer based on renewable materials, polymerized from flexible polyether and rigid polyamide. This SP grade offers heat resistance and UV resistance.
According to ASTM D 6866, the renewable carbon content is 77%-81%.

Pebax 63R53 SP01 Eco-friendly Bio-based Material Processing Conditions:
—Recommended melt temperature (min/recommended/max): 230°C/ 260°C/ 290°C
—Recommended molding temperature: 25-60°C.
—Drying time and temperature (only necessary if the packaging bag has been opened for more than 2 hours): 4-8 hours, 65-75°C Processing Conditions:
—Recommended melt temperature (min/recommended/max): 210°C/ 225°C/ 240°C
—Drying time and temperature (only necessary if the packaging bag has been opened for more than 2 hours): 4-8 hours, 65-75°C
